WORLD CONGRESS OF VETERINARY ANAESTHESIOLOGY

Council Roster and Biography’s 2015 - 2018

The WCVA is administered by Members of a Council which is similar to a Board of Directors. The WCVA Council is comprised of chairs or organizers of each Congress. Dr. Leslie Hall chaired the 1st Congress and Dr. Mike Rex chaired the 3rd Congress. Unfortunately, both have passed. There were co-chairs for the 2nd WCVA and as of 2012, there are 11 permanent members of the WCVA Council. In 2009, the Council created 3 new rotating positions each to be occupied by a veterinary anesthesiologist selected each by the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists (AVA), American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA*), and European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA). Members on this Roster will serve until WCVA 2018 in Venice.
